Todd Merchant saves Anaheim Ducks in 3OT game 2 over the Detroit Red Wings last Sunday night. Trailing with 1-0 game-1 defeats last Friday, Ducks fights back and tied the series 1-1 in against Red Wings in their NHL Stanley Cup conference semi-finals series.
In tough 3OT, Ducks Rob Niedermayer blocks Detroit’s Goalie Chris Osgood allowing Todd Merchant to set a wrist shot past that make the Ducks lead 4-3 and win the game.
